My husband and I (who live in Knoxville) have had several plumbing repairs done by Stan at the family's "old home place" in Morrison. We have been extremely pleased with what he has done. He has accomplished what was needed for a reasonable price and has been very trustworthy and competent. We would not hesitate to employ him for future needs or to recommend him to others.

I went to Stan's Service for replacement parts on a clothes dryer. Stan took my information and got on the computer to find the parts. He ordered the three small parts for me at $9.95 each. I later found them on eBay for $1.95 each, but since I had him order them, I went ahead and bought them from him. When ordering the parts, he and his helper argued the whole time over how to use the computer. This was very unprofessional. I came back the day he told me to come and he wasn't there. He told me the shop next door would have the parts and I could pay them. I went there and she had the parts but wouldn't sell them to me without calling Stan first. He would not answer the phone. I had to make another trip to get the parts the next day. Stan had a surprise for me. He THEN told me that on top of the price of the parts there would be a $10 shipping charge. I told him he did not mention that. He said, "I always tell everybody about the shipping charges." He did not. I paid him nearly $40 for $6 worth of parts. After I complained to him about it and told him how much I could have bought them for on eBay, he told me that I would never have found out the part numbers without his help. This fellow thinks HE is the only person in the world with any sense. I beg to differ. I will do no more business with this unprofessional character. Avoid this guy.

I'm not a typical individual because I was inquiring of parts only. When I was there he wanted to lecture me in which I was stunned that after repeated requests for the item he finally left the front office to get it. He asked to see my refrigerant certification and I told him that I had to get it because it was in my cars glove box and he got upset when I told him that the law doesn't require a license to buy a line tap, only a license to buy refrigerant but I would get mine to show him anyways. It ensued into a shouting match in which he said he wouldn't sell it to me and I said fine I didn't want to buy it from him either in which I left and he followed me out the door into the parking lot continuing to argue with me. This man is extremely arrogant and very condescending; he is even hostile when you ask him to perform a simple task like trying to buy a line tap and he doesn't for some reason want to.
