Great paved natural pathway for a stroll along the river, good for dog walking, bike riding or even roller skating! Connects with Pepper Branch Park @ the other end. ❣

Nice place to enjoy the river view and feed the ducks, maybe even catch a few fish. Good place for eating your lunch and taking a break from what ails your mind. Needs more shade trees and some swings or park benches.

Not too bad of a park. There isn't an incredible amount of things to do here. There is a small playground area for kids and the trail seems to have little areas for exercise as you walk it. There are ducks to feed. It say to not feed them and instead pay a quarter for some food, but it seems everyone ignores that and brings their own bread. There is also a fairly good sized area with picnic tables to throw a birthday party. The police do come down every so often so it feels like a pretty safe park. Quite a bit of parking, you can even find a few fossils if you look close enough, though not many.

Always a safe place to walk. Plenty of wild life to see if you are there at certain times. Peaceful easy way to get your walking in.

Good access, small playground for the kids as well as a sand volleyball court, picnic pavilion( 15 or so tables, up for reserve), and bathrooms in warm months. This is above the dam and there is good access to the slow part of the river. Easy for canoes and kayaks, paved ramp for boats. Easily navigable for something with a motor for a couple of miles upstream.
