Had a very bad dinner date here. Food was terrible, over cooked and bland. The server was a bit rude when I complained about the food. She said the manager was busy on an important phone call.
Food was great. Think service could have been better but think she had a wide area to cover. The manager was helping deliver food to tables as much as possible.
Applebee's is the only chain restaurant in McMinnville that is not fast food and the only reason it is still open, in my opinion. The service we received wasn't awful but could have been better. I would score it average at best. The food quality was below average. I had fries and a burger. The burger was edible but the fries seemed as though they had been cooked hours before and kept in a warming area.
This place is way overpriced and never consistent. I am usually disappointed. I wish mcminnville had more choices. Ordered chicken breast and shrimp. My friends meal was significantly smaller than mine and less shrimp...same meal. It looked like they cut the breast in half. My friend got the better half. I thought they brought me salmon by the way it was shaped. Chicken way overcooked. They kept saying they had run out of stuff. The restaurant was so hot it was hard to eat. It sucks in general. Oh and the chicken was supposed to have mushrooms and onions. It did not.
Great customer service! It was busy tonight but our waiter made sure our glasses were always full. Shout out to our waiter Robert P for a great night!
